Founded in memory of Maruzza Lefebvre D'Ovidio, for over 15 years the Foundation has been engaged inactivities at national and international level aimed at the dissemination of the culture of palliative care, promoting research and the training of healthcare professionals who work with patients with a life-limiting or a life-threatening illness.
In 2013 the Foundation received the Gold Medal of Merit for services to Public Healthcare from the President of the Italian Republic.
